No "Fluke" Tsubouchi to Visit Hamilton Businesses
For Immediate Release
HAMILTON, ONTARIO (July 7, 1998) — On Wednesday, July 8 the Minister of Consumer and Commercial Relations, Mr. David Tsubouchi, will visit the Hamilton offices of Fox 40 International Inc., Hamilton Terminals and the Fluke Transportation Group.
"We will proudly show Mr. Tsubouchi how all three businesses operate from our Warrington Street location," says Hamilton businessman and entrepreneur, Ron Foxcroft. "These are Ontario businesses with very diverse markets: one company with a local focus, one company that provides service in North America, and one company that distributes worldwide."
Hamilton Terminals is the warehousing operation that services numerous manufacturers, both large and small, in our community. Fluke Transportation Group is the trucking company servicing Canada, as well as some U.S. destinations, now famous for the slogan, "IF IT ARRIVES ON TIME, IT’S A FLUKE".
"In particular, I look forward to discussing the international market and the worldwide distribution of Fox 40 whistles and sports accessories", explains Foxcroft.
Over the past ten years, Fox 40 International Inc. has increased the distribution of Fox 40 whistles to more than 100 countries around the world.
In Ron Foxcroft's words, "Fox 40 offers the unique perspective of a small Ontario company supplying the world with brand name items. The manufacturing is in Ontario. The world headquarters is in Ontario. The jobs are in Ontario."
