Fox 40 Honoured by St. John Ambulance - Praised for Leadership, Guidance & Generosity

HAMILTON, ONTARIO (October 5, 2004) — St. John Ambulance and the Order of St. John have honoured Hamilton's Fox 40 International and its Chairman and Founder Ron Foxcroft for their significant support of the 2004 Ontario St. John Conference.

In a ceremony at the Fox 40 World Headquarters in Hamilton, Ron Foxcroft was presented with the Priory Vote of Thanks and recognized for his "leadership, guidance and generosity" in ensuring the success of the 2004 Ontario Conference held in Toronto.

The Priory Vote of Thanks, or P.V.O.T. is sanctioned by the Sovereign Head of the Order of St. John, Queen Elizabeth II and is endorsed by Her Excellency the Governor General of Canada, Adrienne Clarkson.

Hamilton Deputy Police Chief, Tom Marlor, presented the award to Mr. Foxcroft.

Donald St. Pierre, Branch Manager of St. John Ambulance of Hamilton, awarded an additional Chairman's Certificate of Appreciation to Fox 40 General Manager Paul Groleau.

Fox 40's involvement in the 2004 Ontario Conference was inspired by Paul Herbert, a veteran Fluke Transportation Group employee and longtime volunteer with St. John Ambulance.

The Order of St. John and St. John Ambulance are synonymous. Dating back to before the Crusades, the Order has been providing charitable and humanitarian works around the world for more than a thousand years. St. John Ambulance Hamilton is celebrating its 95th Anniversary.
